Android provides the option to add custom phone ringtone and alarm tones by default. but you may find difficulty in setting your own notification ringtone in android. Airdroid app comes once again not only helps you to add custom notification ringtone, also you can copy all ringtone files on your computer from android phone so that you can use them on another mobile phones. It's very simple and straight forward process and you don't need to download any other apps.
If you're new to AirDroid application, then here's how to establish wireless connection between your phone and PC using Airdroid. It's very simple.. isn't it? Then move on to following steps to set new notification ringtone of your own.
1. Click Ringtones on the Airdroid desktop.
2. In the upcoming window you can find all categories of ringtones in your phone. Any of these files can be downloaded/copied to your PC by clicking export button near to each item. Also you can play them in your PC.
3. Click on the notification tab and click Import on the top right section of the window. You can select any of files in mp3, ogg and wav format.
4. You're Done! The selected file will now listed in the notification ringtones under phone settings.
