Disable Adobe Reader Auto Update

Do you think it's fair to initiate a program update without asking a word to you. Adobe acrobat PDF reader does. Most of the adobe reader versions has a very annoying function of updating the software without notifying you. The update size may around 10MB so that it will squeeze the speed, if you have a slow internet connection for a while.

I usually take care of this issue while installing adobe reader and disable auto update from  adobe reader preferences. Here's how to deactivate (If you're too unfamiliar with these kind of things..)

1. Open Adobe reader 9 or 10 or XX

2. Click Edit > Preferences and click General on left.

3. Uncheck the box that says 'Check for updates'.
4. Click OK. Done..
