I know the title of this post is a bit confusing but I should add some more words to explain what I mean. The intention of this trick may or may not be useful but anyway I accidentally found this on galaxy ace android phone which may also work on other phones.
We know the display of the galaxy turns off after a few seconds as set by Settings > Display > Screen timeout. Only way to awake the display is to press Home key or power/lock key. The trick I'm going to share will allow you to turn your display on only by pressing the power/lock key.
No root is required to do this trick.
Try this simple steps:
Press and hold the back key then press power/lock key Done!
To undo this tweak, just reverse the order
Press and hold the power/lock button the press back key.
Try this trick on your android phones and let me know if this working on other phones than galaxy ace.
