Technology geeks will always have problems on their computers as they're the real users of the system. They'll play with advanced settings and control panel rather than just messing with the music or movies and internet. One of the most common but annoying problem in such a kind is that the exe files in our system does not open in normal way. When you double click on exe file to open it, it may cause opening other programs like notepad but the actual program will not run. This may be due to virus attacks or by accidentally re-assigning the program using 'Open With' feature.
Unfortunately, system restore feature does not solve this problem. Here'the fastest way of fixing this by just downloading a registry script. Download this 1 KB sized .reg file. After downloading it, right click on the file and select 'Merge'. You computer screen will go black for a second and, everything will be fine after it.
