Most of the laptops's nowadays have the Bluetooth connectivity module which can be used to transfer files between your computer and other devices like mobile phones. But in a PC or laptop, you cant sent or receive files like between two mobile phones. Instead the device should be added/pair with the system before sending the file. Here's how to add a Bluetooth device like mobile phone to your windows7 laptop.
Steps:
1. First of all you need to do is turn on Bluetooth on your mobile. Make sure that both devices are in communication range.
2. In Windows 7, go to Control panel >> Devices and printers. On top left, press Add device.
3. The windows now look for devices within range and list them in a new box.
4. Select the device that you're going to connect and press Next.
5. Now a request for pairing should pop up in the mobile phone. Press Accept. Usually a paring code should be matched between both devices. Press Next if the code displayed is matched in both devices.
Now both devices are paired and you can transfer files between them easily.
