Change Windows7 Default Downloads Folder

Here's a simple windows 7 tip that might useful if your very new to this version of windows. For a new user, the windows 7 might look very complicated to configure things as in XP. You can change the windows 7 default download folder from C:\Users\username\Downloads to any folder in any of the drives.After doing this you can access this folder easily from the Downloads shortcut that is provided in Mycomputer sidebar andother windows.

1. First, goto the folder that you want to make default one.for example d:\My documents\downloads .

2. Copy this address byright clicking the address bar and by choose "copy adress astext" .

3. Goto My computer, right click on Downloads and click properties.right click and paste the address that you've copied, in the target box. Click OK and you're done.
