What is Intel Sandy Bridge Processor

Intel has announced their second generation of  its iCore processors which are also codenamed as Sandy Bridge. Earlier, if you your computer doesn't have a dedicated graphics processor(means a graphics card, AGP) you could not play heavy duty games. But this is now possible with this new processors designed to handle high definition graphics and heavy textured multimedia games.

Moreover, if you wish to beam your HD content right on to your TV wirelessly, you could do that too. The Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) feature of the processors add full HD 1080p and content protection.

With the quick sync video technology, videos can be converted from one format to another in less than 20 seconds. Normally this would take approximately 4 minutes or even more.
