Firefox uses cache as its online playground on the hard disk where it stores the browsing information of a session. A session includes from startup till when you quit Firefox. the caching of web page elements speed up the process of page loading next time when you load the same page. The browser is configured to remove cache on exit by default. (Tools > Options > Privacy tab).

Adjust Audio Shift in Videos Using VLC and MPC
Many of us are busy in downloading movies and videos from web in different formats such as avi, mp4, flv, mkv etc.. But these converted formats has a problem. The audio video sync may not be correct in all videos. In many videos, sound track may be lead over video track.But this problem is identified by media player coders, and they attached an option to fix the desynchronization of video. All you have to do is play your media file in VLC media player or Media Player Classic (MPC) and identify shift direction. Then you will be able to adjust the audio shift.

Make Old Add-ons Work with Firefox 4
The Latest available Firefox 4 has some quite changes from all the previous releases. Mozilla removed the status bar from the bottom itself to would be to make a chrome look to Firefox. however the icons you installed on the status bar is still available on the Addon bar which can be activated by View>Toolbars>Add-on bar or by pressing CTRL+ / on the keyboard.

Google Chrome 14.0.794.0 Dev Update - Download Offline Installer
Google announced its chrome browser has been updated to its much awaited version chrome 14. The search engine god confirmed that the chrome Dev Channel (developer's channel) has updated to version 14.0.794.0 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame platforms.
The google chrome 14 lists some security fixes but also a few known issues. Also there is Fix for failing navigation with chrome://newtab showing. According to comments in the google chrome releases blog, some users complain that Keyboard forward/back keys don't work either. Also in my experience, it didn't work.
Note: Chrome 14 Dev is an unstable release, not suitable for professional work. we have to wait for a stable release.
